General Care Instructions

Ensuring  Leakproof

To ensure the best experience and comfort for your little one, we recommend giving your new training pants 2-3 washes before use. This will not only clean the fabric but also enhance absorbency and softness!

Emptying Pee + Poop

Empty out large amounts of poop into the toilet. Otherwise just put straight into the wash.

Washing

We recommend you wash before use, just like any clothes you might buy! Machine wash warm (40° C / 100°F) with like colored clothes using mild detergent. You might want to use a delicate setting, especially if they are being washed frequently.

Avoid bleach or fabric softeners

Drying

Line dry or tumble dry on low/delicate to prevent stitches from becoming loose. Do not iron or dry clean.

1. Quick Change, Better Learning

After each accident, promptly change your child into a fresh pair of UpAiry training pants.

This immediate change reinforces the connection between wetness and changing, a crucial step in the potty training process. Multiple accidents in the same pair of training pants may cause a leak.

The slight dampness they feel before you change them helps create awareness, while our leak proof design keeps messes contained.

2. Correct Direction

Our training pants have an absorbent layer that coats the bottom of the training pants. This goes up much higher at the back.

Boys tend to pee more forward and girls backwards which can lead to boys peeing over the top of the absorbent pad.

We recommend using our training pants backwards for boys and forwards (absorbent pad higher at the back) for girls.

This is not mandatory or a one solution fits all, try both!

3. Wash Before Use

What to do if UpAiry Underwear Leak

This can happen for a few different reasons:

Not washed before used: UpAiry Underwear should be washed 2-3 times before use to prepare the fabric to absorb liquid.

Improper fitment: This is the #1 reason. Ensure there are no gaps between the legs and waist.

The pee wasn't absorbed: For UpAiry Underwear to be leak proof, the liquid needs to come in contact with the leak proof layers (see picture above). If the liquid goes through the top part of the Training Pants, it will go through.

Too much liquid: UpAiry Underwear absorb quite a bit of liquid, but often if its a large pee, a little bit may leak out.
